Eadon Farm comprises over 220 acres of hay country and rolling hills situated in Kaukapakapa in North Auckland.
As a breeder, Eadon Farm specialises in sheep and cattle; The Eadon Highland cattle and Magna Poll Dorset sheep. These two breeds are wonderfully suited alike to New Zealand commercial farms and lifestyle properties. Sheep and cattle are excellent to co-farm as they complement each other with best farming practice.
There are many factors that contribute to excellence in breeding and having high-quality livestock for sale. Good temperament is vital in our selection of animals to breed from and also to sell, along with good conformation and handling both for animal health and training.
Animal health for both our cattle (bulls, heifers, calves) and sheep (rams, ewes and lambs) studs is important to us, with regular handling and stock movements, and a local vet available when needed.
Our Fold has rolling hills of mixed pastures; high quality grazing paddocks and rough pasture help produce some of New Zealand’s finest Highland Cattle livestock for sale. A Heritage breed from Scotland, NZ highland cattle love grazing rough pasture and are ideal for helping “knock” it into order.
For over 10 years, Eadon Fold has provided livestock sales to discerning buyers. We welcome your visit – but please call beforehand - to view our wonderful fold of cattle and talk to us about our studs: bulls, cows, calves, steers and sheep.

We found out that Highland cows will not accept a foster calf. We therefore resigned ourselves to getting the cow and calf into the yards twice a day until weaning.
